  • Our client, a design and build subcontractor specializing in drylining and ceiling fit out, is seeking a BIM Manager to join their design team in Stratford, UK.
  • The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM management and a strong proficiency in Revit.
  • As a BIM Manager, you will oversee a team of four Revit Technicians and coordinate with a larger team of Technical Designers on multiple projects.
  • The position offers a competitive salary of £60,000 per year, along with opportunities for professional development and progression within the company.
  • This role emphasizes collaboration and technical design, ensuring the successful management of BIM models and coordination with other subcontractors.

Collaboration in construction is the key to success on any project, you know that as a BIM Manager and so does our client.

Trailblazing the way with technical design, our client is a design and build subcontractor who specialise in drylining and ceiling fit out. Operating across the UK, their Design Team are based in Stratford. They are ahead of the competition with design and currently undergoing their BIM Accreditation (ISO 19650) and also becoming more involved with COBie on projects.

Our client is a subcontractor with a focus on technical design and together we are searching for a BIM Manager to join their design team. Reporting to the Director and working alongside their Design Manager,  you will be responsible for a team of four Revit Technicians.  Working in collaboration with a team of Technical Designers (9 Designers in the team). You will be working on shell and core fit out so there is a huge amount of coordination with other subcontractors (notably MEP).

Your role would require complete management of their BIM Models as opposed to someone who is doing drawing and therefore they need someone who knows Revit extremely well. You will be looking after multiple projects and you need to be able to check the models that the Revit Technicians are submitting are correct. You will hold coordination meetings with other trades and manage how the BIM model interfaces between these, making sure the project programme and schedules are up to date.  There would be some BIM modelling drawing work to be done but most of this would be done by the Design Team.

Our client has a very open and collaborative approach to construction and the whole design team works together to find solutions. They offer a huge amount of progression within their business, from both a professional development perspective and also building your knowledge with technical design.

The London division turnover circa £30M and they have many other sister companies and regional business hubs which means they are a cash rich company as this has always been their strategy to spread the risk on contracts, ensuring financial stability.
