Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team, working for a Tier 1 contractor with offices and sites across London. This role offers the opportunity to be placed on one of two major projects-the Piccadilly Depot Upgrade and Sidings Improvement-or within our Civils/Tunneling department, working on a high-profile JV with two Tier 1 contractors. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of large-scale infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for ensuring cost efficiency, risk management, and compliance with NEC contracts, while working closely with project teams and stakeholders.

• Manage the commercial function of assigned projects, ensuring cost control and profitability.
• Administer NEC contracts, including variations, valuations, and dispute resolution.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to forecast costs and assess risks.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports and cost plans.
• Engage with stakeholders, clients, and JV partners to maintain strong working relationships.

• Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding and experience with NEC contracts.
• Previous employment with a Tier 1 contractor is desirable.
• Good career longevity, demonstrating commitment to previous employers.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
