Your new companyHays are working with a GOOD Ofsted rated School, near Stratford-upon-Avon. The school are looking for a Science Teacher to provide long-term cover until Easter, with an option to extend further.

Your new roleAs a qualified science teacher, you will be responsible for inspiring students through creating high-quality lesson plans that are in line with the curriculum. Whether a new qualified teacher or an experienced one, you will need to be confident in delivering high quality lessons to students, with varying abilities. Effective communication, teamwork and organisational skills are crucial. You will be responsible for marking work, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a thorough understanding of curriculum material.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Science to secondary school students
  • Biology or Chemistry specialism preferred
  • Good Behaviour Management
