Location: Sheep Street . Stratford Upon Avon
Reports To: Retail Operations Manager.
Employment Type: Full-time ( 30 Hrs) 10.00am -16.00pm

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Retail Shop Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations.

Job Summary:

The Retail Shop Manager will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the store,
ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, driving sales, and leading and developing the store team.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a passion for retail and a proven track record of achieving sales targets and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Store Operations: Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.

Sales & Profitability: Drive sales and profitability by implementing effective sales strategies, promotions, and ensuring store merchandising aligns with company standards.

Customer Service: Ensure a superior shopping experience for customers by maintaining high service standards and resolving any customer complaints promptly.

Team Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and develop store staff. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and high performance.

Inventory Control: Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control. Ensure that merchandise is restocked, displayed appropriately, and well-organized.

Financial Management: Monitor and manage store budgets, expenses, and financial reports. Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales to maximize profits.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure the store complies with all health and safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.

Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute in-store promotions and events.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on store performance, including sales, inventory, and employee performance metrics.

Qualifications:

Education: A basic level and understanding of English & Maths.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail management or similar Role.

Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets.
