Our client is a leading provider of railway construction and maintenance services, known for their dedication to quality, safety, and compliance.
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Site Administrator to join their team on a recently won project in Warwickshire. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the project meets stringent quality and safety standards.
Our client will consider PAYE candidates on a fixed term employment contract, and freelancers on day rate alike.
Site Administrator
Package:
- Up to 35,000 or subsequent day rate
- 24 days holiday + BH (PAYE)
- Pension contribution (PAYE)
- Opportunity to join the business permanently following project completion (Not guaranteed).
Site Administrator
Key Responsibilities:
- Collate, verify, and maintain quality assurance (QA) documentation for the project.
- Ensure all documents comply with company, client, and regulatory standards.
- Assist with booking deliveries to sites and arranging inductions for site personnel.
- Act as a central point for tracking documentation and logistics to support project delivery.
- Ensure accurate completion and collation of permits, including:
- Permits to Work
- Permits to Dig
- Hot Work Permits
- Oversee the collation of LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) documentation.
- Ensure all lifting and work equipment complies with legal and operational requirements.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records, logs, and reports for QA activities.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and external stakeholders to address QA and compliance issues.
Site Administrator
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in an administrative or QA role, ideally within construction or rail (site based).
- Understanding of permits and safety regulations, including LOLER and PUWER (not essential).
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.
