Expleo Engineering are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of our clients manufacturing plant, equipment and facilities whilst improving equipment reliability. This will be a permanent role, working a rotating shift pattern, based at our clients site in Warwickshire.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include:
- Carrying out repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner.
- Assisting in the development of planned preventative maintenance schedules.
- Carrying out PPM schedules as necessary and planned work orders as required.
- Operating maintenance Fork Lift Truck and Elevated Working Platform as required.
- Reporting breakdown root cause, equipment faults and concerns to management
- Manufacturing spare parts as required using lathes, milling machines and welding equipment.
Background, skills and experience required for the Maintenance Technician role:
- A Mechanical or Electrical based apprenticeship with City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Proven experience working with both relay logic and PLC control systems.
- Extensive experience as a qualified maintenance / service engineer operating in an industrial environment (Preferably in the automotive sector).
- Flexibility to work shift patterns, to include nights, overtime, weekends to support production.
