We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join a growing team in a well established company looking to expand. This company manage a large portfolio of residential property, commercial property and new projects throughout London.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste disposal in residential and commercial settings throughout East London. On occasion this will be a customer facing role, so communications skills and polite mannerism is essential. 

Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00 or 09:00-18:00 with overtime availalable. 

Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems
  • Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure
  • Install and maintain water supply systems
  • Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets, etc.
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems
  • Respond to plumbing emergencies promptly

Experience:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

  • Ability to perform basic maths calculations
  • Experience with all pipework repairs
  • Capable of heavy lifting when required
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
  • Knowledge of plumbing techniques
  • Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
  • Carpentry skills for some tasks
  • Commercial driving experience (nice-to-have)
  • Ability to assemble components accurately
  • Cylinders and boilers
  • Investigating leaks and blockages
  • All plumbing rated issues.
