Chef Manager - Street - £25,000 - Term Time Only!!

Monday - Friday - term time, 38 weeks Plus 3 additional weeks and inset days, 7am-2.30pm (35 hours per week)
The role:
A primary school is looking to recruit a Chef Manager to work at a contract catering facility in Street Somerset. The Chef Manager will work under the direction of the Area Manager. This is a hands on cooking role but there will also be the paperwork side that you will be responsible for.
* Contracted to 35 hours per week but paid for every hour so over time is available to increase your package
* Term time only work for 38 weeks plus 3 additional weeks
* Great working hours of 7am- 230pm
Standards are high, and meals are prepared daily from fresh ingredients. The ability to work quickly according to the requirements of the Kitchen team is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
* Learn all aspects of food preparation and cooking under the guidance of catering management team
* Ideally a quick learner who must be able to work under pressure in order to succeed in his or her role
* Must maintain high standards of personal and food hygiene
* Ideally NVQ Level 1 and 2 qualified however not essential as long as you have previous kitchen experience
