**Job Description**:

Kenton Black are partnered with a leading material testing laboratory who are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst to join their team in Ipswich.

Key Responsibilities of a Lab Analyst:

- Conducting a variety of analytical tests on food and water samples in a timely and accurate manner.
- Preparing samples for analysis by recording, weighing, and processing samples according to established procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and orderly records of all testing, including data entry and analysis.
- Adhering to quality control measures to ensure high standards are consistently met.

Lab Technicians are required to have:

- A degree in a scientific discipline (Ideally Chemistry) or equivalent laboratory experience.
- Competency in using laboratory instruments and understanding the principles behind their operation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Please note that this contract may be extended beyond the initial 2 to 3 months for the right candidate, depending on business needs and individual performance.
