Salary: £47,125
Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity? We have an exciting opening for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client's dedicated engineering team in Lichfield. Their engineers play a crucial role in maintaining a range of specialist machinery and equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of their factory and the continuous supply of their award-winning products.
Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:
- Overseeing day-to-day maintenance of production equipment
- Quickly reacting to breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Performing equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
- Leading factory start-up and testing processes
- Ensuring accurate and timely completion of documentation
Skills and Experience Required for the Maintenance Engineer:
- Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Awareness and understanding of statutory requirements and legislation
- Experience in repairing and maintaining machinery in a controlled environment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail
