Salary:
37,500pa + bonus opportunity

40 hours pw (days) - actual hours to be discussed at interview

The Role:
- Coordinating shipments both in UK and EU
- Working is existing client base and exploring new business opportunities
- Invoicing and pricing
- Customs entriesfor overseas shipments
- Quotes, costing, booking and shipping
- Tracking shipments from collection to delivery
- Finding solutions to customer requirements
- Responding to internal and external emails
- Dealing with internal and external stakeholders including sub-contract hauliers and other transport providers
Required:
- Experience in the freight forwarding industry (or similar)
- 2 years transport industry experience (preferred) - ideally in road transport
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills
- A collaborativeapproach with both internal and external stakeholder to ensure both import and export of goods
- Knowledge of customs requirements, processes and procedures
- Operational and sales (business development) experience is an advantage
- Groupage experience (desirable)
