An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Management Accountant to join the Accounting & Finance department of a well-established firm in the industrial / manufacturing sector, based in Stroud.

Description
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements to ensure accurate reporting of financial performance.
- Collaborate with different departments to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis and take corrective actions to address discrepancies.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards to maintain compliance.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support decision-making.
- Provide timely and accurate management information (MI), including monthly management accounts, weekly factory reports, and KPI statements.
- Quickly and accurately deliver ad-hoc financial and data analysis, with a focus on factory performance and overhead control.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Solid experience in management accounting within the industrial / manufacturing sector
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
Job Offer
- A competitive salary range of approximately £45,000 to £55,000
