Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Stroud
Pay Range/details: £14.35 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
A leading Textile Manufacturer based in Stroud, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their Tennis department. The position is full time on double day shifts and after training the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join on a permanent contract. Full training will be given due to company processes but candidates will have a manufacturing or engineering background with machine operating experience.
Key Responsibilities – Machine Operator
- Running your own machine, you will be shown all processes within the plant to become a multi-skilled operative.
- Responsible for the quality of your own work reporting any defects to your Line Manager/ Supervisor
Qualifications & Requirements – Machine Operator
- Manufacturing experience is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given
- Good organiser
- Sense of urgency
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to train on Double Days (6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm on weekly rotation)
