Science Technician

Location: Stroud

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: 130 - 145 per day

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and meticulous Science Technician to join a Stroud secondary school. This role is integral to supporting our science department, ensuring the smooth operation of lab activities, and maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and materials.

• Assist teaching staff during laboratory sessions.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Manage inventory of chemicals and lab supplies.

• Aid in the development of new experiments and practical activities.

• Support the department with general administrative duties.

Qualifications & Skills:

• A background in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics preferred).

• Experience working in a laboratory setting.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
