: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs. This part-time role involves working four mornings a week, supporting the child's learning, development, and well-being in alignment with their individual education plan (IEP).Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support to the assigned pupil, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in classroom activities.
  • Implement strategies and interventions outlined in the child's IEP or support plan.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to monitor and report on the pupil's progress.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.
  • Ensure the pupil's safety and well-being at all times.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a recognised qualification as a Teaching Assistant (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools).
  • Experience in supporting children with additional needs is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive education practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children's development.
