Are you a qualified Finance professional looking for a new challenge within the education sector?  Class People are currently supporting one of the leading independent schools in their search for a financial professional to oversee the financial operations working closely with the Director of Finance and Operations.  

With the opportunity to work Hybrid, full-time with a salary of up to £58,000 per annum. Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial records, maintain accounting systems, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Manage annual audits, liaise with auditors, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including VAT returns.
  • Provide financial insights for decision-making and long-term planning, supporting the school's growth and development.

What we’re looking for:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management, ideally within education or the non-profit sector.
  • Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, people management, and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
