Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic business goals.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK tax regulations, and internal control frameworks.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, including management and statutory accounts.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making and business performance.
- Oversee external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors and stakeholders.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering continuous improvement.
- Enhance financial systems and processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Profile
The Successful Candidate:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with demonstrated experience in senior financial roles.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, IFRS compliance, and managing external audits.
- Strong experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to provide actionable financial insights.
- Hands-on and methodical approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
