Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains an integrated Production operation to agreed health, safety, and quality engineering and technical standards.
  • Optimises line performance to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators in the areas of equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Carries out planned maintenance activities and suggests ways to improve them based on observations and history and makes them happen.
  • Routinely analyses line performance data and takes appropriate action to improve performance.
  • Participates and leads continuous improvement and problem solving activities to improve performance.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. Food production experience is essential.
  • Must be qualified to HNC or City and Guilds Part 3 skilled discipline, time served apprenticeship.
  • IOSH Health and Safety would be advantageous but must demonstrate sound health and safety knowledge.
  • Able to demonstrate world-class manufacturing techniques would be desirable (e.g. Lean, TPM/RCA).
