Year 3 Teacher

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a teacher for a Year 3 class teacher role starting after Easter.

This role is working in a school with small classes ( only up to 15 per year ) You will be required to take on full classroom responsibility, this includes all planning and marking. You will also be required to support with break and lunch duty once a week.

This role also involves one day per term outdoor learning, one day of forest school and sports activities each week which the teacher will need to support with but not run.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach the children the curriculum, planning all classroom lessons.
• Be able to adapt lesson plans to work with different children needs and abilities.
• Provide feedback to parents, the school and the agency at the end of the day.
• Managing behaviour and maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Support with extra curriculum activities within school hours and after school

Requirements:

• You must have a relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS etc)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A positive and compassionate attitude towards students
• A valid right to work in the UK
