Location: Stroud

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £11.95 - £13.00 per hour DOE

Working Hours: Day Shift, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (Mon - Thu), Friday 7:30 am to 3:00 pm

Responsibilities:

As a Process Operative - Surface Treatment, you will play a vital role in the Stroud Manufacturing Team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing components for surface treatment, including masking, media blasting, and waxing.
  • Following detailed process instructions and data sheets to ensure accurate and efficient treatment.
  • Recording processing times and outcomes, andmaintaining accurate documentation.
  • Promoting a culture of safety and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Surface Treatment department and the organisation as a whole.

  • Ability to follow process instructions with a keen eye for detail.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving processes.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • High attention to detail and a strong awareness of the importance of quality.

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience in a Surface Treatment Operation
  • Knowledge of an aerospace processing environment

Technologies:
