We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee operations in a specialised manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with solid production management skills and good people skills, ready to lead a dedicated team. The successful candidate will manage the production process from start to finish, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout.
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee the entire production process, ensuring efficiency and quality from the initial stages to the final product.
- Manage a team of approximately 25 staff, including four team leaders with significant industry experience.
- Engage with the team to gain their buy-in, making the role both challenging and rewarding.
- Coordinate with external partners to ensure timely delivery of finished products.
- Maintain high standards of production management, ensuring all machines and processes operate efficiently.
- Adapt to a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends, to meet production targets.
- Proven experience in production management, preferably in a specialised manufacturing sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery.
- Ability to handle multiple shifts, including double days and night shifts.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Competitive salary range of £40,000 - £45,000.
