Our client who are within the education sector based in Stroud are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their experienced and supportive team on permanent basis.

The main purpose of this position is to handle payroll processes and provide support to the HR team. This is a lovely opportunity to join an organisation who bring an excellent working environment, a generous benefits package and training opportunities.

In this role, previous payroll experience is NOT essential, however, you must be a well organised, numerate individual and be able to understand how to use Pivot Tables in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

-Manage end to end payroll processes

-Work with the HR department to maintain an update of employee records

-Ensure all variances, absences, contract changes are input into the payroll porta

-Assist in ensuring timely distribution and authorisation of monthly payroll reports

-Generate payroll reports and analytics for management

-Utilize excel spreadsheets and pivot tables to analyse payroll data and identify discrepancies

-Stay current with UK legislation regarding payroll regulations

­-Liaise with the HR department on all HR records and filing including archive material

Candidate Attributes:

-Previous experience with Pivot Tables

-Excellent numerical skills

-Handling confidential Information

-Understanding of frequently used computer software and programs

-Committed to the protection and safeguarding

-Supportive of the organisations aims and ethos

Hours - 37 hours per week
