Due to ongoing expansion and the opening of a new site, they are seeking to add a Technical Author to their talented team.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Author to further their career in a genuinely interesting position, with lots of scope for further training and development. You will be responsible for producing a comprehensive library of internal documentation, including assembly guides, standard operating and testing procedures, largely for electronic components used in speakers.This role would suit a Technical Author looking to establish a lasting career, and grow alongside a company at the heart of an exciting sector, in a role with plentiful training and development opportunities and the scope to develop into more senior roles.The Role:
- Collaborate with staff to produce educational content for internal use
- Creating content that reads well and is well-designed, clear and informative
- Working in a manufacturing environment, with material catered towards assembly, production and maintenance
The Candidate:
- Will have experience in Technical Writing
- Experience in a manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous
- Familiarity with authoring and illustrating tools and software, or design/CAD
