Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Stroud. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of commercial construction experience and hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage project budgets and cost plans
- Conduct cost analysis and risk management
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with contractual terms
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports
- Negotiate and manage variations and claims
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in commercial construction
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar qualification
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
