Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Stroud. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of commercial construction experience and hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets and cost plans
  • Conduct cost analysis and risk management
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with contractual terms
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reports
  • Negotiate and manage variations and claims

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in commercial construction
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar qualification
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
