We are seeking a motivated and experienced Property Manager to join our clients dynamic team at a leading commercial property management firm. Reporting to the Property Management Director, you will be instrumental in the efficient and effective management of our growing portfolio of commercial properties. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in commercial property management, who understands industry regulations and best practices, and is capable of leading a high-performing team.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Portfolio Management: Manage the operations of a diverse portfolio of commercial properties across the UK, ensuring all aspects of the properties are running smoothly.
  • Lease Management: Oversee lease events such as rent reviews, dispute resolutions, and renewals. Ensure compliance with lease terms and maintain an up-to-date property database and management system.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Facilities, Maintenance, Finance, and other departments to ensure operations are aligned with the broader organisational strategies.
  • Tenant Relationships: Focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with tenants, aiming to enhance their experience and satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Manage daily operations while promoting a positive, service-oriented work environment.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews and compliance reporting with direct reports.
  • Coaching and Development: Mentor team members, providing feedback and training to help them advance their skills and careers.
  • Strategic Planning: Identify improvement opportunities, address challenges, and set goals that align with business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • MRICS qualification is preferable.
  • Proven experience in managing commercial properties with a deep understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in developing detailed lease and tenancy agreements.
  • Knowledge of landlord codes of conduct and standards.
  • Extensive understanding of Business Rates.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to manage tenants and stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience in team management, focusing on career progression and skill enhancement of team members.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative capabilities.
  • Proficient in financial management including budgeting, invoicing, and cost control.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently under pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Office and property management software such as Yardi or MRI.
  • UK driving licence
