Position: Maths Teacher

Are you a passionate and dedicated Mathematics teacher, including Early Career Teachers (ECTs), looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic teaching team at a school located in the picturesque town of Stroud. This is a full-time position with the potential to become part-time for the right candidate.

Our school we are working with are ideally looking for someone to start ASAP but would be more than happy for someone to start in January 2025 until the end of the academic year!

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective mathematics lessons up to GCSE level.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to diverse student needs.
  • Use innovative teaching methods to inspire students and promote a love for mathematics.
  • Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum in collaboration with the department.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics up to GCSE level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting mathematical literacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Salary:

The position will be paid on the teacher pay scale, ranging from £140 to £250 per day, depending on experience and qualifications. For Early Career Teachers (ECTs), this position will count towards your years of service.
