Role Responsibilities:

  • Inspire a love for physical activity and healthy lifestyles by delivering outstanding PE lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop and deliver lessons tailored to the diverse range of student needs and abilities, employing various teaching strategies.
  • Encourage active participation and foster positive attitudes toward physical education and personal well-being.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback, supporting their progress and development.
  • Facilitate effective communication with parents/guardians through parent-teacher meetings and school events.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Preferred possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or comparable teaching qualifications; experienced Sports Coaches will also be considered.
  • Specialization or significant experience in teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong understanding of PE, coupled with a passion for promoting physical well-being and personal development.
  • Exceptional classroom management skills, creating a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.

Pay:

Competitive daily remuneration aligned with the pay scale, negotiable based on qualifications and experience. The minimum daily rate for a non-planning and marking role is £130!
