PE Teacher | Stroud-Based | Mainstream Secondary School | Part-time: 0.6 | Maternity Cover | April Start |Your new roleHays is looking to recruit a Physical Education Teacher for Maternity Cover in a Stroud-based, mainstream secondary school from April 2025. Your role will include planning and preparation of PE lessons and be able to teach GCSE PE to grade 9. What you'll need to succeed
- At least 2 months' experience within the last 4 years of teaching within a school or leading large groups of pupils
- PGCE, QTLS, ECT or equivalent qualifications
- Have a passion for sport and health-related fitness with an enthusiasm for teaching and learning
- Have student achievement at the heart of everything they do
- Be committed to the all-round development of the student
- Contribute to the extra-curricular offer of the department
