We are pleased to be representing an established healthcare group, as they search for a dedicated Team Leader to support adults aged 19-60 with learning disabilities and mental health needs. They provide person-centred care, helping individuals live fulfilling lives within their own homes and communities. They are searching for a dynamic individual to help lead their team and continue delivering exceptional support.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting their teams to provide the highest standards of care. Collaborating closely with the Manager, your duties will involve overseeing staff, ensuring care plans are tailored to each individual, and fostering a positive environment for all involved. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and reviewing person-centred care plans, liaising with families and other professionals.
  • Leading, motivating, and guiding Support Workers to maintain high care standards.
  • Managing staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage across the service.
  • Assisting with medication administration and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Building positive relationships with individuals, supporting them in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.

Skills & Experience You'll Need:

  • Experience leading teams in a supported living environment is advantageous, but full guidance will be provided by their experienced Area Manager.
  • Hands-on experience providing personal care.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including participation in an on-call rota.
  • A passion for making a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
