Then reach out! Kingston Barnes is recruiting a Purchasing Supervisor for one of our clients in theStroud area.

The Company:

The Company specialise in the design and manufacture of applications for the oil & gas and renewables industry

The Role:

You will be responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of the purchasing operations

Duties & responsibilities include, but arent limited to:

Managing supplier relationships

Negotiating contracts, prices and deliveries

Overseeing preparation and processing of purchase orders within the department

Authorised signatory on purchase order ensuring costs, quality and delivery requirements are met. Ensure purchase ordersmatch RFQ in price, delivery and quality requirements

Responsible for compilingmonthly vendor performance delivery & quality management data.

Works closely with the sales and proposals team to provide costing information.

Coordinates the teams RFQ activity to ensure proposal KPIs are met using the RFQ tracking report.

Works with Materials Manager & Sales to analyse sales forecast data and inventory levels to determine key procurement decisions.

About you:

Strong experience using Microsoft Office, excel and word

Experience using planning tools, ERP/MRP and vendor management systems

Experience working within manufacturing, engineering or an industrial company.

Strong inter-personal skills and ability to communicate with suppliers and internal customers to build a strong relationship.

Package:

£35,000 - £40,000 per year

Monday Friday, half day on Friday

25 days annual leave + bank holidays
