A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a TIG Welder to join a UK known manufacturing company in the Stroud area!
With no day ever being the same the TIG Welder role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Produce finishing weld runs on fabricated assemblies.
- General fabrication and fettling work.
- Cary out specialist welding - TIG of stainless steel and/or Aluminium structures, pipework and components
- General MIG applications on MS structures.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Ability to read understand and produce work to general engineering drawings
- Experience in the use of general engineering equipment
- Argon back purging on stainless pipework welding to ASME IX standard
- Ability to weld with and without jig and fixture arrangements
