Project Manager Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Company Car
Orion is partnered with a well-established business located in Stratford On Avon which is recruiting for an experience Project Manager. The company specialises in heavy lift transport, haulage and logistics. The ideal candidate will have come from this industry or: heavy industrial, logistics, construction etc..
Project Manager Experience:
- The successful applicant will require a strong background in heavy lift, haulage and logistics.
- Construction or heavy industrial project management experience
- Must have experience working multiple projects at any one time
- Must be able to manage multiple projects at once from cradle to grave.
- Customer liaison – Experience being that key point of contact to a customer throughout a project’s journey.
- Experience being self-sufficient and managing commercial projects successfully to completion
- Stakeholder management
- Contractor management
- Project Management Documentation
- Display high levels of organisation
Project Manager responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects at any one time. Cradle-to-grave management.
- Work closely with the multi-functional team to ensure that all projects are running to time and make amendments as and when needed.
- Troubleshoot technical issues when the need arises and escalating appropriately as needed.
- Maintain timelines and target dates in the Project Management Database.
- Attend site meetings and ensure that projects are set up and signed off.
- Organise and facilitate project planning, daily meetings, reviews, retrospectives and client meets.
- Ensure the business is practicing the core principles of collaboration, prioritisation, team accountability and visibility.
- Stakeholder management - Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder’s needs and requirements continuously in view.
- Contractor management – liaise with contractors to ensure that the projects are running smoothly and on time

Project Manager Shifts – Monday – Friday 08:00 17:30 – Any over time taken at the weekends or bank holidays are paid as over time at a premium rate.
