Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to join a vibrant and supportive Junior School? Flourish Education is excited to offer a HLTA position in a Good Ofsted-rated school located on the outskirts of Redditch.

 

This is a full-time role that allows you to make a real difference within Key Stage 2 (KS2), providing targeted support across the National Curriculum as well as covering classes from Years 3-6. This role is due to start immediately and continue until the end of the academic year. There is a temp-to-perm option for the right candidate.

Job Role:

 

Take full responsibility for teaching and marking for students in KS2

Support pupils with a variety of learning needs, ensuring all are included and challenged

Assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons aligned with the National Curriculum

Provide targeted support for students with additional needs, working closely with class teachers

Help maintain excellent behaviour management strategies across the classroom

 

Required Skills and Experience:

 

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or equivalent

Proven experience working in a Junior School environment, with solid knowledge of KS2 curriculum

Excellent behaviour management and communication skills

Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and the ability to apply it effectively in the classroom

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the best outcomes for students

 

Working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:

 

£110 to £120 per day, which equates to £21,450 to £23,400 per annum based on a full-time role
