A leading manufacturer of products for the electrical installation market is seeking an electrically qualified Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing facility.
This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of manufacturing facilities, associated infrastructure and manufacturing equipment, ensuring production continues to run efficiently with minimum disruption.
As a Maintenance Technician, your duties will include -
- Maintaining all plant machinery to ensure safe, continual and efficient operations
- Ensuring that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately scheduled and accomplished
- Prioritising responsibilities to ensure breakdowns and repairs are conducted efficiently and cost effectively
- Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues
- Work closely with manufacturers, suppliers and internal departments in finding ways to improve process and increase machine reliability and performance
To be successful in the role of Maintenance Technician, the ideal candidate will -
- Be a time served, fully qualified/skilled maintenance engineer
- Hold an electrical qualification
- Be able to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Be capable of working on own initiative and as part of a team, with effective time management skills
On offer -
- A salary of 30-35K depending on experience
- Working a weekly rotating shift pattern: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm
- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays
Based in Worcestershire, this role is commutable from Worcester, Birmingham, Redditch, Bromsgrove and Evesham
