Are you a skilled and dedicated individual with a passion for ensuring machinery runs smoothly? We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a busy team. In this key role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
  • Health & Safety: Promote a safe, tidy, and compliant working environment, ensuring that health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside the production team to minimize downtime and support efficient production schedules.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
  • Stock Management: Ensure that spare parts and tools are well-organized and maintained.
  • Teamwork: Foster a positive team spirit and contribute to the overall success of the department.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A relevant technical qualification or certification (preferred).
  • Vocational training or apprenticeship in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance role is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Electrical certification is advantageous.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work under your own initiative.
  • A commitment to health and safety standards and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
