Overall, Role or Purpose of the Job:
The International Business Development Manager is pivotal in driving Glazing Vision’s global growth and profitability. This role requires strategic oversight, performance analysis, and operational leadership to ensure the company's international markets thrive. Responsibilities include planning, executing, and monitoring systems, processes, and partnerships to establish and strengthen Glazing Vision's footprint in key international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance and Profitability Reporting: Regularly report the performance and profitability of all international business activities to the board.
Market Analysis and Entry Strategy: Conduct comprehensive analyses of international markets. Identify and outline market entry requirements to enable successful penetration into new regions.
Network Development: Build and manage relationships with distributors, fabricators, and approved installers across international markets. Develop and implement strategies to expand and enhance the distributor, fabricator, and installer networks globally.
Systems and Procedures Development: Design and implement streamlined systems and procedures to optimise international operations.
Performance Reviews and Target Setting: Conduct performance evaluations for international distributors, fabricators, and approved installers. Set clear targets and agree on budgets for all international markets outside the UK.
Product Development Opportunities: Identify and evaluate opportunities for product development in existing markets. Assess potential products or adaptations to facilitate entry into new markets.
Strategic Contribution: Collaborate with key stakeholders to shape and execute Glazing Vision’s international strategy.
Event Representation: Attend international exhibitions and events to represent the company. Provide support to distributors, resellers, and approved installers during these events.
Architect Engagement: Establish strong relationships with architects globally. Conduct impactful presentations and product demonstrations tailored to architectural professionals.
