We have partnered with a successful supplier business based in Sudbury who are seeking to recruit an Assistant Accountant role on a permanent basis to join a close-knit finance team of 4, who would provide support to not only the team but the rest of the company and its clientele.Responsibilities:As an employee, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the financial records – recording daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.
- Reconciling Accounts – Performing regular bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Preparing financial statements – Assisting in the preparation of financial reports for management.
- Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable – Processing invoices and ensuring timely payment of bills.
Requirements:In this role, you will need:
- AAT Qualified
- 2 years of experience within a finance related role
- Experience with accounting software and MS Office suites, particularly Excel
- Good communication skills and organisational skills.
