Customer service Sales Manager required in a brand-new position for our Sudbury based client. As customer Service sales Manager, you will manage a small team of in-house customer service and sales executives as well as the field sales executives where you will strive to get the most from your team by leading them by example, giving them attainable targets, monitoring performance whilst providing an excellent first-class service to the company’s existing and new clients. It is essential that you monitor your team’s performance in being sympathetic and very patient with customers as they may be vulnerable and need lots of help when making an enquiry and purchasing their product and not feeling pushed to make a purchase to hit their target. If you possess experience in a customer service and Sales manager role where you have led a small team and pride yourself on understanding your customers’ needs and ensuring your team deliver this, send you cv now!

The Role

  • Leading and overseeing a small team internal team as well a national field sales team
  • Ensure team are delivering a seamless customers experience
  • Cary out one to one and team meetings
  • Giving team targets and monitoring the performance to achieve the best from them
  • Lead your team in delivering a first-class service whilst being empathic and sensitive due to the type clients they may encounter
  • Building relationships across the internal and external teams
  • Train new member of staff as well as provide ongoing training and support to existing staff
  • Promoting sales and monitoring targets set to team
  • Managing call figures an addressing any issues
  • Analysing call data to improve sales and customer service
  • Managing customer issue resolution from start to finish
  • Checking sales contracts
  • Answering calls and emails as required and handling appropriately
  • Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm

The Person

  • Previous experience in a customer service/sales management role leading a team
  • Ideally have worked within a role delivering a first-class customer service/sales whilst maintaining a sensitive and empathic attitude
  • Excellent people skills across all levels
  • Able to identify any staff issues and deal with appropriately
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to self-manage and prioritise workload
  • Previous working in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Easily adaptable to a variety of tasks
  • Ability to lead a team and develop strong relationships
