Sales Account Manager required to join our Sudbury based client who are pioneers in the manufacture and supply of solutions for all restoration, renovation and sustainable construction for heritage buildings. In your role as sales account manager you will introducing yourself to existing customers to see if they have any projects that may require the materials you can supply as well as building a new client base. It is essential for this role that you possess excellent client care, have a knowledge of specialist materials needed for heritage buildings and sites. As Sales account manager you may have come from an architectural, surveying, construction and/or heritage background to be considered for this role but more importantly customer care is your priority. Our client is happy for you for work partially from their office as well as from home and will reimburse your travel expenses for visits to client or provide you with us of their company van as well as a laptop and mobile.
The Role
- Contact and build relationships with existing customers
- Building relationships with existing and new customers
- Make appointments to visit customers predominantly in the London area
- Look for new sites that may require the materials sold and make contact
- Flexible hours working from both the office and/or home
The person
- Previous knowledge in heritage buildings and the specific materials used for them
- Excellent customer care and sales experience
- Motivated & driven
- Able to build rapport quickly
- Great customer service/relation skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
