We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in Sudbury. This role involves supporting students across all year groups, starting after Easter and continuing until July. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide support to students across all year groups, assisting them in their daily learning activities.
  • Work closely with teachers to implement lesson plans and educational activities.
  • Assist in managing classroom environments, ensuring a safe and conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Support students with special educational needs, under the guidance of the lead teacher.
  • Help in preparing classroom materials and resources for lessons.
  • Monitor and support student behavior, promoting positive interactions and engagement in the classroom.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in a teaching assistant role or similar educational position is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children of various ages.
  • Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for education.
  • Enhanced DBS check will be required.
