Just Recruitment is working with a well-regarded and established business, on the outskirts of Sudbury - they are looking to add an Electrical Assembly Engineer, to their long-standing team. The electrical assembly engineer will be responsible for assembling and testing a wide range of electrical products. The successful candidate must have experience in electrical assembly.Key Responsibilities:Ensuring that quality and attention to detail is the driving force behind all aspects of the roleAbility to follow SOP'sConfidence to challenge working practices, and help us improve our assembly standardsProduct safety and compliance testingAbility to understand the workings and purpose behind the assembled componentsDevelop and implement best working practice Perform operations such as wire prep and crimpingOptimize processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safetyWork with assembly coordinator and production team to ensure work is driven through on time and to the highest quality standardConfident in delivering to a production scheduleCandidate requirements: Experienced background with electrical components and assemblyConfidence to put name to checking procedures to ensure the highest standard of quality is always achievedAbility to read engineering drawingsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This will extend to managementStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentan electrical or electrical assembly qualification would be desirable, but is not a necessity.This role is being offered on a full time - permanent basis, working days only - weekdays - no weekend or shift working is required.This is a great opportunity to join a stable company with a full order book.
