Just Recruitment is working with a well-regarded and established business, on the outskirts of Sudbury - they are looking to add an Electrical Assembly Engineer, to their long-standing team.

The electrical assembly engineer will be responsible for assembling and testing a wide range of electrical products. The successful candidate must have experience in electrical assembly.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring that quality and attention to detail is the driving force behind all aspects of the role
Ability to follow SOP's
Confidence to challenge working practices, and help us improve our assembly standards
Product safety and compliance testing
Ability to understand the workings and purpose behind the assembled components
Develop and implement best working practice
Perform operations such as wire prep and crimping
Optimize processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
Work with assembly coordinator and production team to ensure work is driven through on time and to the highest quality standard
Confident in delivering to a production schedule

Candidate requirements:
Experienced background with electrical components and assembly
Confidence to put name to checking procedures to ensure the highest standard of quality is always achieved
Ability to read engineering drawings
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This will extend to management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

an electrical or electrical assembly qualification would be desirable, but is not a necessity.

This role is being offered on a full time - permanent basis, working days only - weekdays - no weekend or shift working is required.
