Trainee Textile Operative required for our industry leading Sudbury based manufacturing client. It is not necessary to possess previous weaving experience although this would be ideal but it more important that you are someone who does possess a key eye for detail with the motivation to want to join a long-standing company and develop a career with them. In return for your role of Trainee textile operative you will be part of a very passionate team, given a competitive salary and will be provided with a very clear and structured training plan.

The role

  • Most possess some experience of working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Experience of fault identification, diagnosis and problem solving
  • Ideally some experience and/or interest in the textile/fabric industry
  • Happy to lift and move items
  • Ability to read and understand written work instructions to weave fabric to the correct levels of quality and productivity.
  • An eye for detail and colour to achieve a high level of quality
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Aptitude of a good team player, providing positive contribution to production improvements
