Maintenance Technician

The Just Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician for their client based in Sudbury, Suffolk.Job Purpose* To safely carry out technical procedures for overhaul and repair of emergency evacuation equipment, including slides, rafts & cylinder assemblies with the careful use and understanding of written instructions using the CMM component maintenance manuals and any other regulatory and or technical document as required* Ensure close attention to detail and an appreciation of the exceptional working standards required in the Aviation industry * The ability to use tooling and test equipment in the correct manner * To work within a team environment, with good communication skills* Responsible for adhering to health and safety rules and procedures* Conducting assigned tasks in a controlled and safe manner, paying particular respect to colleagues and equipment* To work safely, within guidelines, with high pressure gas systems* To work to set standards and deadlines* Adhere to company policies and procedures at all timesEssential requirements* Basic mechanical / engineering knowledge* Must be willing to as part of role to use adhesives and sealants where a face mask must be worn during the process* Professional conduct displayed at all times* Able to lift safe loads without assistance* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, at all levels* Numeracy and literacy skills* Reliability* Flexible attitude and approachFor more information on this position, please contact Just Recruitment Group Ltd on telephone quoting job reference 913492Please note that if you have not been contacted within 7 days, your application for this position has been unsuccessful.
