Our client has been established for many decades – but excels in moving with the times - and offers expertise to an ever-expanding range of clients.

This can either full time – but divided into three days payroll, two days bookkeeping OR we will be interested in speaking to those seeking part time (3 days) as just undertaking payroll duties.

Key payroll duties will be –

Managing circa 60 payrolls, consisting of a combination  of weekly, fortnightly, monthly however the vast majority will be monthly with a few weekly runs.

Which calculations will include  SSP and SMP.  A majority of the calculations will be done in Sage Payroll with manual computations only for special, adhoc projects.

Subject to your experience, you may be involved in advising clients on various aspects of payroll.

For those seeking full time work, bookkeeping tasks will include standard trial balance, prepare and submit VAT returns, reconciliations, manging client queries and so on.

We are looking for those ideally who have provided payroll services to multiple clients, be it practice or bureau, but will also consider those in industry who have run payroll for multiple divisions within a group.

Salary will reflect the experience of the successful candidate.
