Position Overview:

Kay Coffee Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Manger to join our team in Sudbury The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our service team with a focus on creating the best customer experience within our restaurant. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of staff training and management in the catering sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training staff to perform allocated roles

• Managing inventory

• Assisting customers with any queries or requests

• Administering pay slips to staff

• Analysing the restaurant’s sales levels and profitability and creating and implementing strategic plans to achieve sales goals

• Organizing marketing activities such as discount themes and promotional events on and off-site

• Assisting head chefs in planning and coordinating restaurant menus keeping trend and competition information in mind.

• planning catering services

• deciding on range and quality of meals and beverages to be provided and discussing customer’s requirements for special occasions

• purchasing required supplies and arranging for preparation of accounts

• verifying the quality of food, beverages

Minimum Requirements:

A degree or a relevant education and training in Business Administration, Event Management, or Catering.

Experience in staff management and sales, preferably in the food industry or related sectors.

Languages: Advanced proficiency in English is required.

Skills:

Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
