I'm looking for a Field Service Control Systems Engineer to join our client in Sudbury.

The travel for this position is 30% - 50% and is all covered by the company, as well as a company phone and laptop.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform equipment start-ups, technical service calls, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop pneumatic and electrical control systems, including PLC programming (Siemens/Allen Bradley - training provided).
  • Assist in project execution by specifying parts and liaising with suppliers.
  • Communicate with clients to understand and meet their control system requirements.
  • Conduct equipment and application testing.
  • Prepare site visit reports and maintain internal documentation.
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal engineering/project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a technical role, ideally in machinery maintenance.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, including familiarity with pneumatic circuits.
  • Experience with PLC programming (Siemens or Allen Bradley) is advantageous but not essential-training provided.
  • Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel globally.
