We are seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our team for the summer term, focusing on reading and interventions with occasional classroom cover throughout the school. This role is ideal for someone passionate about enhancing student learning and supporting individual educational needs.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver reading and intervention sessions to students requiring additional support.
- Plan and prepare engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Provide occasional cover for other classrooms, ensuring continuity in learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to implement effective teaching strategies and share insights.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in delivering reading and intervention programs.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
