London?? £65-75kAre you a passionate Test Automation Engineer ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role?I am working with a leading product research and development company, that is seeking a talented Lead Test Automation Engineer to join their team.You will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of industry-leading products, including lighting control, LED video processing, and motion control solutions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and implement robust test automation frameworks
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify system requirements and ensure code quality
  • Maintain and optimise test environments to achieve maximum test coverage
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and tools
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to the overall improvement of testing processes
Essential Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in test automation engineering
  • Strong proficiency in Python or a similar programming language
  • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with BDD and Gherkin syntax
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with Postman, Froglogic Squish, and Unit Testing
  • Knowledge of Ethernet, TLS, and video standards
  • Previous experience with lighting or video products
  • Project management or team leadership experience
