Milk Education are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring SEND Support worker to work in one of our partner Special Schools in Acton.
This school offers high quality ABA training and a progression opportunities. This school caters to students aged 4-19 with autism spectrum conditions (ASC) and severe learning difficulties. The role will include supporting students with their communication skills and increase independence through engaging sensory activities and a class structure. The successful candidate will support the class teacher to personalise each student’s learning journey to fit their individual sensory, behaviour, communication, medical and learning needs.
SEN Support responsibilities:
- Experienced working with students who have Special Educational Needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive in supporting adaptations within the learning environment
- Excellent organisational and IT skills
- Assist teachers in preparing resources or intervention supports
- Be aware of and support difference and ensure all pupils have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop
SEN Support must haves:

- The ability to work under the guidance of the teacher as well as part of a team
- Be aware of and comply with school policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
